We have launched a crowdfunding campaign in conjunction with Calor Gas to create a virtual experience and upgrade the existing path. Pilgrimage should be accessible to all and we hope that this will enable people who are prevented from walking the Way by barriers of distance and mobility issues to experience the route remotely.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has led us to postpone our physical gatherings, this is an opportunity for us to come together online for a project that will benefit both the Orkney community and pilgrims from all over the world.

You can support us by liking, sharing and making a pledge on our crowdfunding project page. Each like and share grants us one point and every pledge, no matter the amount, gives us 10 points. If we can demonstrate enough community support through points, we will qualify for an additional award of £2,500.

Please create an account and log in for your points to count and remember to share from the project page itself, rather than this Facebook post.

We look forward to watching the project grow.

Let’s make this happen!
