  • You can now support the St Magnus Way when you shop online with Amazon

It is now easier than ever to support the St Magnus Way with our recent registration for the AmazonSmile charity scheme.

The scheme enables you to link your Amazon account to Orkney Pilgrimage and donates 0.5% of your purchases at no extra cost to you. If you wish to contribute to the St Magnus Way more directly, you are still free to do so via give.net or by volunteering your time as a Piecekeeper if you live locally.

To be clear, there is no obligation or indeed any encouragement to shop with Amazon. We would be very grateful if you could consider linking your existing account with Orkney Pilgrimage so that the AmazonSmile Foundation can then, in turn, pay us. If you were going to buy something through Amazon anyway, we would greatly appreciate if you visited smile.amazon.co.uk and made your purchase there (after linking your account).

This is just another option for people from whom direct donation might not be feasible or convenient for whatever reason, but still want to contribute to the maintenance and development of the Way. We are thankful for all the support we received last year particularly and are busy with both the Virtual Way project and general improvements to the pilgrimage experience in Orkney.
